About the GGS Annual Conference

The 68th Annual GGS Conference theme is Design Your Vision of Aging: Connecting Goals Through Collaboration. The three-day conference allows attendees to hear about new and innovative practices, develop new collaborative partnerships, and network with colleagues from across Georgia and beyond. We hope everyone leaves inspired and informed to improve the lives of older adults and the communities in which they live.

Five tracks offer a platform to explore new ideas, innovations, and collaborations. They are Empower Caregivers – An Unforgettable Journey; Hope in the Age of Dementia – New Knowledge, Science, and Solutions; Making Connections for Physical, Behavioral, and Social Wellbeing; Protecting Rights and Advancing Justice; and Resources, Supports, and Technology to Age Well.

We will hear stories from those who have provided care, inspired and implemented programs, participated in research studies, and advocated for change. Expanding on the conference theme of collaboration, we also will hear from those who have partnered across various disciplines. The GGS Annual Conference experience provides an opportunity to engender an open dialogue for personal and professional growth.
