OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE
GGS invites you to join us at our 71st annual conference on July 27 – 29, 2026. This three-day conference allows attendees to hear about new and innovative practices, develop collaborative partnerships, and network with colleagues from across Georgia and beyond. We hope everyone leaves inspired and informed to improve the lives of older adults and the communities in which they live.

Group Rate Code and a special rate of $209 and waived resort fee for conference attendees will be available in April.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUS)
GGS will apply for approval to offer CEUs for conference sessions. The type and number of credits offered will be determined by proposals submitted and selected. We are currently set to apply for Continuing Education for Social Workers. Details on additional CEUs will be updated as soon as available.
SPEAKER COMPENSATION
GGS does not pay a speaker’s fee, cover lodging or travel costs, or offer other forms of compensation for general presenters. Presenters will receive a discounted conference registration rate. You are not required to pay a registration fee if you plan to attend only your session.
ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION DETAILS
Organizational Membership Registration Benefit
Organizational members may extend their conference registration discount to up to five individuals. These do not have to be the same five individuals listed as the organization’s official membership contacts. However, the five individuals formally designated by the organization will continue to receive the additional membership benefits, including voting privileges and other listed perks.
Registration Cancellation & Transfers
If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us in writing by emailing administrator@georgiagerontologysociety.org no later than 11:59 p.m. on June 20, 2026. A $35 cancellation fee will apply. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued after June 20, 2026.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another individual through midnight on July 3, 2026. To arrange a transfer, please contact us at administrator@georgiagerontologysociety.org, and we will be happy to assist.
