Tenth Annual Elder Rights Conference: Trafficking At-Risk Adults and their Benefits: Hiding in Plain Sight

There is an emerging crime involving predators who target extremely vulnerable adults to gain access to the adults’ monthly benefits and perpetrate various types of abuse, theft and fraud. These crimes target billions of dollars in state and federal funds intended to benefit the victims. The conference will focus on this evolving crime and strategies to identify the criminal acts, stop the fraud, neglect and abuse, address the needs of victims and build strong cases for prosecutors.
